OUR STORY

The Hot Springs Village Razorback Club was founded in the late 1970s by a woman named Retus Hedgepeth Zierke. Initially, there was a question to the club forming because it was too close in proximity to the Hot Springs Razorback Club. Retus was told if she could produce enough people at the Hot Springs Village meeting then she could start the club. Having easily met that challenge, the Hot Springs Village Razorback Club was formed and so it began…

For over 40 years our club has actively supported our University of Arkansas men and women student-athletes helping them realize their dreams of achieving a quality college education while participating in athletics on a nationally competitive level.

We are a very active club! As a non-profit chapter of the Razorback Foundation, we raise funds through various activities including our banquets, bus trips, cruises and of course, our annual golf tournament. Our first golf tournament was held in 1987 and we have continued hosting an annual tournament to this day. At Hot Springs Village, we are home to some of the best golf courses in the country, making our golf tournament the premier Razorback Club golf event in the state.

In 2016, the Hot Springs Village Razorback Club was honored with the Horton Cup Award for Best Razorback Club in the state!
We are proud of our Razorbacks and the club is growing year after year. If you are interested in joining the club, reach out today, we would love to have you!
